A-levels can be a challenging time for students, especially due to their university choices resting on their final result. The curriculum is a tough and vigorous one  that requires a student to have a strong grasp on the subject conceptually and objectively. Similarly, students require to undertake certain exam techniques for the specific subjects they are preparing for. That’s where our EmpowerOwl tutors come in.

Not clear on what to do after your A-levels?
Here are some ideas

Apply for a university: Search for entry requirements of the course you wish to pursue from different university websites. If you’re not sure what to study you can drop down your A level subjects in this explorer to see possible courses you can opt for!

Go for a foundation degree: A foundation degree, Higher National Diploma or Higher National Certificate are usually one to two years in duration that can later be followed up to a full degree later if you wish

Higher or degree apprenticeship: This combines university study with real work experience in a company. This is a great way for your degree fees to be paid by your employer. A new multi-million-pound fund called the Apprenticeship Levy was introduced in April 2017. This funding will enable new apprenticeship courses to be developed and help universities develop courses in a range of areas

Jump into paid employment: You could apply for jobs that offer further training in order to learn and progress further into the organisation
