The situation...
Studies from the Education Endowment Foundation show that private tutoring can accelerate a child’s learning by up to 5 months within a year. However due to prices being so expensive, private tuition seems to be a luxury that only those with higher-income backgrounds can afford which means students from lower income homes are missing out on opportunities and resources that should be available for them too…

We keep our prices low because we believe that Education should not be too monetized and be readily available for everyone.The average price for tuition for GCSE tuition is £45-we prices ours for less than 50%!
However, we do understand that for some families that price may still be too much. That is why for those children who cannot afford to pay the full price we offer further discounts and free sessions if needed. We have tutors who volunteer to give free sessions and through raising funding and our ‘Sponsor a Student’ programme we can even pay for your one-to-one sessions!
Here at EmpowerOwl Education, we aim to lower and hopefully eradicate the achievement gap between children who cannot afford private tuition and those who can. Although schools play a big role, there is no doubt that additional resources, support and guidance can go a long way for a student and open greater doors and possibilities.
